Man's Group Retreat
As those of you who check out Grant Harrison's blog know, I'm also here in Hot Springs Village right now on a much needed retreat.
Hopefully you got to see the pics of Hinton's car on Grant's site.
Just getting a time to break away from school and not wonder about work has been awesome. There are 12 of us here, each hungry to share what Christ has been doing, what we've been learning, and what we're struggling with. If any of you reading this are not in a men's group (or women's group if you're female), I highly, highly recommend finding one. If you don't know of one, start one. Seriously.
Last night's ribs were amazing. Oh yeah, find a gender specific group that already has a master chef (we have Tom Drogo, owner of the Capitol Bistro).

Are ribs "just a guy thing"? Tom fixed the girls chicken and rice . . .
i don't like ribs. too much work/mess while eating (as evidenced by my refusal to order them at Rendevous this past summer). you guys should have cooked the turkey.
The ribs were amazing. Overall, the weekend was pretty great.
Especially since I got to room with "The Daniel"
I like ribs, wish I could go to the man retreat.
